Grant Requirements
- Attendance: Grants are awarded based on attendance. Students who attend five out of the six classes receive the full grant. Students who attend two, three, or four classes receive a prorated grant based on the number of classes attended. Students who attend only one class are not eligible for a grant.
- Volunteer: Must volunteer at one (1) Chabad, CKids After School, or Friendship House event each semester.
- Participation: Students must actively participate in each class and successfully complete the weekly quizzes and any required assignments throughout the semester.
Attendance Requirement

Late Arrival: Students are expected to arrive on time. Arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time will be considered an absence for that class.
Attendance Bonus: Students who attend all six classes with no tardies will receive an additional $25 bonus.
Volunteer Requirement
The Sinai Scholars Leadership Program is proud to partner with Chabad of West Boca, CKids After School, and the Friendship House to provide students with meaningful volunteer opportunities.
Students are required to complete one (1) volunteer experience per semester at one of these organizations to remain eligible for the program grant.
Chabad of West Boca is guided by the idea that there should be a place where everyone can feel at home within a Jewish community. Volunteer opportunities include helping at community events, children’s programs, holiday celebrations, and more.

CKids After School provides students with the opportunity to mentor younger children, assist with activities, help with homework, and support our after-school program.

The Friendship House provides support to individuals with special needs and their families through recreational, social, and educational programming.

Please note: Time spent volunteering may also be submitted to your school for community service hours.
