Our Chabad community thrives because of caring people like you. Volunteering is a meaningful way to give back, connect with others, and help create a warm and welcoming environment. Choose an area that speaks to you and make a difference!
Welcoming Committee
Help new families feel at home in our community. Volunteers greet new faces in the lobby on Shabbat, share information about community resources, and connect newcomers with programs, events, and neighbors.
Event Check-In
Be the friendly first face that people see when they arrive. Volunteers will greet guests, manage the sign-in process, answer basic questions, and help everything run smoothly from the start.
Security Team
Help keep our synagogue safe. Volunteers assist with maintaining awareness at entrances, monitoring the campus, and coordinating with our professional security. Training and clear guidelines will be provided.
Synagogue Usher
Ensure that services are welcoming and organized. Ushers greet attendees, assist with seating, help distribute Siddurs and Tallits, and guide participants during key parts of the service.
Shabbat Hospitality Team
Play a key role in creating a warm Shabbat experience. Volunteers help arrange accommodations for visitors who need a place to stay and connect community members with Shabbat meals. This ensures that everyone has a welcoming home and table for Shabbat.
Ckids Afterschool Program
Support our growing afterschool program for local children. Volunteers can assist with homework help, activities, and helping create a warm, positive environment in the afternoons.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 2:20–6:00 PM (volunteers can join for an hour or more; flexible scheduling available)
A great opportunity to make a real impact on children and families in our community.

Laszlo's Caring Kitchen
Bring care and comfort to others by delivering meals to community members. Drivers are needed on Thursdays between 6:00–7:00 PM to make local drop-offs and spread kindness one meal at a time.

Annual Matching Campaign
Be part of the energy and excitement of our end-of-year campaign. Volunteers will help make phone calls during the December matching campaign to reach out to supporters, share the impact of Chabad, and encourage participation.
